The private limited liability company incorporated under Belgian law Flatninja, with registered offices at BE – 2000 Antwerp, Tolstraat 28, registered at the Register of Legal Entities of Antwerp, division Antwerp under the number 0640.876.327 and known by the VAT-administration under the number BE 0640.876.327 (hereafter “Blogalyzer”, “we” or “us”) respects the privacy of its users (hereafter a “User””, “you” or “your”) and has developed this privacy policy (hereafter the “Privacy Policy”) to demonstrate its commitment to protecting your privacy.

We collect information through our website (hereafter the “Website”), the corresponding digital platform (hereafter the “Digital Platform”) and the application which provides you access to the Digital Platform (hereafter the “App”). This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how that information may be used, with whom it may be shared, and your choices about such uses and disclosures. We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully when using our Website, the Digital Platform or the App or transacting business with us.


1. Website and Digital Platform practices

Blogalyzer helps you to optimise your content marketing strategy. We do so by offering you a Digital Platform that allows you to view your content marketing performance data in different formats (hereafter the “Services”). For more detailed information on the Website, the Digital Platform and/or the App, its functionalities, and your responsibilities towards the Content you upload, download, post, email, analyze or otherwise transmit, please consult our Terms of Use.

When using any of the Services of Blogalyzer, you consent to the collection, transfer, manipulation, storage, disclosure and other uses of any materials, including but not limited to text, data, graphics, photographs, images, document layouts, artwork, text, fonts, software tools, or any of these elements in combination (hereafter the “Content”) under the strict circumstances as described in this Policy.


2. What information do we collect?

2.1 Automatically collected technical information

Through the Website, the Digital Platform and/or the App we automatically collect certain technical information regarding our Users. This information could include the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer, the IP address of the Internet Service Provider, the device ID and type, access times, the Internet address of the website from which you have linked directly to the Website, your browser type and language, the operating system used by your device, the sections of the Website you visited, the Website pages you accessed, the information you viewed.


2.2 Personal information

We collect personally identifiable information that is specifically and voluntarily provided by you.

We do not collect sensitive information (e.g., data relating to race or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, criminal record, physical or mental health, or sexual orientation) from you. We shall, where necessary, obtain your explicit consent should we wish to collect and use information of this nature.

In order to register as a User with Blogalyzer, you will be asked to sign in using your Google Gmail or Analytics login. If you do so, you authorize us to access certain Google account information, such as your public profile (consistent with your privacy settings in Google), your first and last name, email address. When using the service to analyse your content marketing performance, you will be asked to give access to a blog, which allows us to download and store the Google Analytics data of the websites / properties you provide, a necessary requirement to re-calculate, optimise, and visualise the data.

In addition, we may collect and store any personal information you provide while using our Services or in some other manner. If you transact business with us, this may include financial information.


3. What about cookies and web beacons?

The Website and the Digital Platform of Blogalyzer or Blogalyzer’ service provider(s) may use cookies (small text files stored in your browser) or web beacons (electronic images that allow the Website and/or the Digital Platform to count users who have accessed a particular page and to access certain cookies) to collect aggregate data.

Cookies themselves do not personally identify you, they merely recognize your web browser.

We do however analyze the traffic to and/or your use of the Website and/or the Digital Platform with Google Analytics. Google Analytics is subject to the privacy policy of Google which you can find on Google’s website. By visiting the Website or using the Services, you are agreeing to the terms of the Google Privacy Policy that apply to Google Analytics. We are not responsible for any changes made to the Google Privacy Policy or of advising you of such changes. We reserve the right to change analytical service providers at any time without notice.

4.  For what purposes do we collect your data?

4.1 General purposes

We use and process collected Content to:

  • deliver and improve our Services and enhance your experience of the Services;
  • operate and maintain the Services;
  • manage your account and provide you with customer support;
  • perform research and analysis about your use of or interest in our Services;
  • monitor and protect the security and integrity of the Services;
  • analyze our business;
  • website or mobile application analytics;

  • process your registration and create your Blogalyzer profile as to give you access to the Digital Platform;

The above mentioned purposes are restrictive.

If we do, however, want to use the collected Content for any other purpose, we will contact you and/or obtain, where necessary, your explicit consent.


4.2 Job applicants

If your personal information is submitted through our Website when applying for a position with our company, the information will be used solely in connection with considering and acting upon your application. We may retain your personal information, but only for the purpose of considering your application for current or future available positions. This information, which may include your name and contact information, prior education and experience, and other information you provide to us, may be shared with third-party service providers retained by us to collect, maintain and analyze candidate submissions for job postings.

In all circumstances, we may perform these functions directly or use a third party vendor to perform these functions on our behalf who will be obligated to use your personal information only to perform services for us. Also, if you access our Services from a third party social platform, such as Facebook, we may share non-personal information with that platform to the extent permitted by your agreement with it and its privacy settings.


5.  With whom we share your information?

5.1 Third parties and direct marketing

We may disclose personal information as required by law or in response to service of legal process, such as a court order, summons, subpoena, or the like.

We may share personal information with our corporate affiliates and with business partners who provide services related to the Services (such as website hosting or payment processing) to the extent necessary. 6.  Who is responsible for handling a User’s personal data?

The entity responsible for handling your personal data collected on the Website and/or Digital Platform by Blogalyzer is Blogalyzer.


7.  Your choices about collection and use of your information

You can choose not to provide us with certain information. This may however result in you being unable to use certain features of our Services because such information may be required in order for you to register as a User or initiate other transactions.

Our Services may also deliver notifications to your browser or mobile device. You can disable these notifications by going into “App Settings” on the App or by changing the settings on your mobile device.

To delete or decline cookies we refer to our Cookie Policy.


8.  How can a User access his personal data?

Once you have created a Blogalyzer account, you are able to access your profile, review and update your personal information or close your account at any time.

You may ask us, free of charge, to amend or to have removed all your personal data from our database by sending an e-mail to the responsible for the data treatment, to the following address: 2000 Antwerp, Tolstraat 28.

We will take care of any request as soon as possible.


9. Voluntarily posted content

We provide areas on our Services where you can post information about yourself and others and communicate with others. Such postings are governed by our Terms of Use. Also, whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information on publicly viewable pages, that information will be publicly available and can be collected and used by others. For example, if you post your email address, you may receive unsolicited messages. We cannot control who reads your posting or what other Users may do with the information you voluntarily post, so we encourage you to exercise discretion and caution with respect to your personal information.

When you upload, download, post, email, analyze or otherwise transmit Content to or through the Website, the Digital Platform and/or the App, you should think carefully about what you are making public about yourself and/or about other persons. 10. How do we protect your personal information?

We take security measures to help safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access and disclosure.

We use rented servers who are physically located within the European Union. We and/or our providers make all reasonable efforts to keep these servers, applications and databases secure and free from unauthorized access and use, by using physical, administrative and technological measures to protect the information maintained.

We have no responsibility, liability for, or control over those other websites or Internet resources or their collection, use and disclosure of your personal information. The Services are hosted in the European Union. The present Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Belgium. The competent courts of the registered office of Blogalyzer shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any claim or litigation arising out of it.
